Challenge

A Scandinavian biotech company involved in a number of clinical trials engaged SliceVault to simplify image transfer in a phase I trial. For the specific trial, the client was looking for better ways to collect PET-CT scans to evaluate tumor response according to standard imaging criteria (iRECIST, PET criteria, and RECIST 1.1).

The client was looking for a provider of data management solutions, that could simplify the transfer of medical images, and make it easier for the investigator sites to de-identify, view and transfer the PET-CT scans to sponsor.

Key requirements

  1. 21 CFR Part 11‑compliant

  2. Easy to use system

  3. No download or installation

Solution

Together with the client we designed a simple workflow, that met all their key requirements. Together we made the image transfer easy for the participating investigators.

See how an international biotech company use SliceVault to streamline their data collection, quality assurance, and central read procedures in a large decentralized phase III trial.
